As-salaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatu,

Just a couple questions that came to my mind:

Why is it that sometimes it’s easier to admit your mistakes to Allah, to ask His Forgiveness, and to swallow your pride in front of Him; than it is with other people? Why are we sometimes more reluctant/ afraid to say or do something in front of other people than we are in front of Allah?

Is it a sign of lack of emaan, shedding light on our pathetic state of (spiritual) affairs; or is it just “one of those things”?

I think that it is human nature.

Seeing at it is He who created us, fashioned and proportioned us, provides for and sustains us, and loves us more than anyone ever could, it is natural that we turn to Him.

For me, it's just like why we love our mothers more than anyone else (and the highest example is, of course, for Allah...

weak eeman. if we had strong faith we would fear Allah more than the people but unforunately we possibly fear people more than allah

May allah give us all stronger eeman
