The scholar appears to be quite confused about the the concept of Democracy vs. Liberal Democracy.

There is nothing that says that in order for a country to be a "Democracy" that they must abide by some higher principles, or that a "Democracy" must guarantee certain fundamental rights. For example, in the case of the Greek Democracy that the author cites as being a legitimate one, slavery was not outlawed, women did not have the right to vote, and, at least for a time, those owning no property could not vote either. No "fundamental rights" were granted to all people.

The only criteria that a government has to fulfill to be called "Democratic" is that it assumed power through the will of the people. That is all.

Democracy is government by the will of the people, NOT NECESSARILY government in the best interests of the people.

I'm surprised that someone of knowledge would still be confused about the definitions of these terms and concepts.

did not the greeks invent democracy, becuase they believe rule of the people for the people by the people. i.e men are like demi gods and are demi legislators

there is massive difference between shura and democracy.. shura is consultation of administrative of specialist area in the field of mubah i.e consulting the ummah or the citizen of dowla islamiyah.. should the money be spent of hospital or a public school. these are areas of mubah..
democracy is the ideology and principle of legislation i.e where man is soverign.

Islam is pure and free from the shirk of democracy..
in practical terms democracy is a utopian ideology like communism it can NEVER BE IMPLEMENTED.

Islam is not just superior to Democracy, it is an insult to the Soverignty of Allah Azawa jal to even compare them..
Compare democracy to the tawageet or idols or obedience to other than Allah.
But let the muwahideen not dare even contemplate comparing it with the shariah of Allah whch is pure from creation of man.

Allah (swt) says in translation "And if you obey them, verily then you are of the mushrikeen"

The only place democracy and islam can meet if on the battlefield.
Let the sword of Allah be raised against the sword of tagoot.
March on muwahideen against the government backed scholars.

Do not bow you head to this flthy secular system!

The kuffar and their nifaaq agents (moderates) have realised as this ummah get closer to the the quran they wish to distance the ummah from it, because in its distance is the ummahs destruction, in their distance from each other is their weakness, in this distance is easy stealing, murdering and raping of muslims.

But never will the barking of the dogs of shaytan belittle the Messenger of Allah, Who the Creator granted manifest status, never will the Quran, the word of Allah Lawhe Mafooz be belittled in the sight of the muslims. and in the creation Of Allah, to the extent the mountain fear of collapse if the quran was revealed upon it.

The barking of the dogs of shaytan are declaring war upon the sharia and upon the muwahideen who adhere to the sharia, is becoming more embolden since they know their agent in the muslim lands will help them and not release the armies of the ummah in defence of truth, They have shackled the muslims who wish to defend Islam, and have turning muslims soldiers against their own brethren.

The crusader rulers are leading the way to attack Islam, such as the Danish MP who took it upon himself to prepare a drama on the quran and on the shariah of Allah, claiming the kufr and shirk of democracy is greater.

We call upon Muslim to return to the Quran, and get guidence from the word of Allah, and the sunnah of Nabi (saw) which is also revelation EQUAL to the quran.

And Use the Quran to eliminate democracy from the hearts and mind of the Muslims

Understand the shariah in the quran and sunnah, that Only Allah is our legislator and lawmaker.

Work for the implemention of the quran by working for the Islamic imamate (khilafah).

We Ask Allah that we rather perish than see the quran and the sunnah being attacked, We rather perish than see your Rasool belittled. An Earth quake is more preferable upon us than seeing the quran, sunnah and shariah being belittled. But we ask Allah not to put us with those who remained silent on the insults against the shariah for we are not like the saint he punished first before his yawm who did not speak out! For we have cried from every hill top "in il hukmo ila lilah" and we carried out the duty of amr bil maroof wa nahi anil munkar.

We have no doubt that Allah has sent a warning to the insulters and their nifaaq agents as he did to previous nations before the command came, we have no doubt that the punishment and the humilation of Allah is coming to the enemies of Allah, short is their time of insulting Allah (swt) Shariah and his messenger who left the shariah for us.

Humilate the insulter of Nabi (saw)! as you Humilated Abu Lahab and his wife and humilate them with the humilation of previous nations.

O Ummah Use the QURAN to prepare the janazah of democracy
