As salaamu 'alaykum.

Can someone please write out or link me to the dua'a for the start of a talk and the end of a talk ?

It's not in my hisn al muslim. if there is a transliteration available as well that would be greatly appreciated, for proper pronunciation.

Have scanned 2 pages with the arabic. The second one has the du'a for ending a gathering (at the bottom).

Transliteration can be viewed here for khutbatul haajah:
http://www.islam-qa.com/index.php?ref=2066&ln=eng

To end:
Subhanak Allahumma wa bihamdik ash hadu an la ilaha ill Ant astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaik

Try to get yourself in the habit of saying this
"Subhanak Allahumma wa bihamdik ash hadu an la ilaha ill Ant astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaik"

at the end of any talk with other people

wa’alaikum as-salaam,

JZK for reminding us of this Sunnah…if there is a transliteration available as well that would be greatly appreciated, for proper pronunciation. You may find the recital in this clip from Sh. al-Afasy also useful for pronunciation, insha’Allah.
