I don't know but Sheikh Al-Baloushi will be doing the talk on Characteristics of Ahlus-Sunnah and the Opinions on the People of Innovation. Anyone who is familiar with him will know who he'll talk about in the latter part of the lecture.

Brief profile of confirmed Speakers

The Tayyibun Annual Conference 'Reviving the Sunnah, Awakening the Ummah' speaker line up includes:

Shaykh Haitham bin Jawwad al Haddad
Shaykh Haitham al-Haddad was born in Saudi Arabia and studied under the noble scholars Ibn Baz and Ibn Jibreen. He attained a BSc in Law & Islamic Law from Umdurman University, Khartoum, Sudan. The Shaykh currently teaches in London, and runs the Muslim Research and Development Foundation (MRDF).

Shaykh Abu Muntasir al Balouchi
Shaykh Abdul Rahmaan (Abu Muntasir) al-Balouchi completed his secondary education in Iran, after which he was admitted to the Islaamic University of Madinah Munawwarah in 1979 where he studied Arabic before joining the Usul'uddeen (Principles of Faith) and Da'wah college. He reached his second year of studies before the policy to expel Iranian students was implemented. He went to Syria to complete his Shari'ah studies at Damascus university, were he graduated in 1984. The Shaykh currently directs the Ahlus Sunnah Association of Iran, London Office.

Shaykh Abdullah Zain al Abedin
Shaykh Abdullah Zain al-Abedin graduated from Hadith and Islamic studies faculty in Madinah Islamic University, Saudi Arabia in 1993. At present he continues to further his education in the same field through reading for a Phd at SOAS University as well as working extensively in the field of Muslim media.

Ustadh Dr Khalid Khan
Dr. Khalid has studied deen under traditional Islamic scholars from the Indo-Pak region, he is an Imam at the Lambeth Islamic Cultural Centre. The Ustadh is frequently seen on Islam Channel on the IslamQA show answering phone in questions, Dr Khaled is also teaches at the Tayyibun Institute in the field of Aqeedah (Islamic Creed).

Ustadh Abu Talha
Ustadh Abu Talha graduated from Madinah Islamic University (KSA) with a BA Hons in Shari'ah and specialises in the field of Fiqh and Islamic Law. During his study in Saudi Arabia, Ustadh Abu Talha also learnt from the scholars teaching in the Prophet's (Peace be upon him) Masjid. Amongst the many daw'ah initiatives that he conducts Ustadh Abu Talha also teaches Aqeedah tul Wasatiyyah at the Tayyibun Institute.

Ustadh Wasim Kempson
Ustadh Wasim Kempson graduated from Madinah Islamic University (KSA) with a BA Hons in the Shari'ah and specialises on the field of Fiqh and Aqeedah. The Ustadh is a Primary school teacher by profession and is currently a lead teachers at Tayyibun Institute teaching subjects on Arabic language, Fiqh, etc.

Ustadh Abu Hasnayn Murtaza Khan
Ustadh Murtaza Khan graduated from the International Islamic University in Islamabad (Pakistan) with a BA Hons in Usul'udeen (specialising in Tafseer and Hadeeth). At present he is an Islaamic studies teacher in al-Noor Primary School, London. He is also amongst the teachers at Tayyibun Institute teaching Tafseer and other subjects.

Ustadh Alomgir Abdul 'Aleem
Ustadh Alomgir has studied Arabic language in Cairo (Egypt) whereby he completed the study of Al Kitaab'ul Asaasi, Al Aajaroomiyyah, Mulhatul I'rab, Nahw al Mussafa & Alfiyyah of Ibn Maalik and other texts in various sciences such as Fiqh, Tajweed, etc. The Ustadh teaches at the Tayyibun Institute and specialises in the field of Arabic language & linguistics.

Ustadh Hassan al Maghribi
Ustadh Hassan al Maghribi has studied Arabic language and Islamic studies in As-Sous (Morocco) where he was born, he has also traveled to other countries studying under various respected scholars, he has several ijazahs in Hadith with the chains leading to classical scholars. Traveling there is simple by bus as 106, 254, 25 are all close to the venue.

Or alternatively by tube train get off at Whitechapel or Aldgate East station insha'allah.
