I don't think anything practical can be done about this.

We have lots of people registering, and we don't know who exactly is behind a particular username and why he is registering. This is despite of having a moderated registration system in place.

Also, no matter how many mods we have, it is difficult to have at least one mod present at all times. And certainly every member cannot simply be turned into a mod.

So time delay when dealing with such one of cases should be expected.
