Did he really become Athari/Hanbali in his last days?? Anyone read "Al-Ibaanah"?? When exactly was it written? Nuh Keller claims that it was written after al-Ash'ari broke with the Mu'tazilis (so it is one of his earliest books and not his last book, according to Nuh Keller). I would appreciate it if someone could help me answer these questions.
