JZK… I’ve been looking for a source for that quote for some time.

Ibn Athîr's book is actually called “al-Kaamil” and not al-Jamil.

What does it mean by “a blow upon the face of enemies”? I think I remember it suggesting otherwise.

I think I remember it suggesting otherwise.I just looked it up in al-Kamil, and subhanAllah... whether deliberately or not, this is a mistranslation and distortion of the actual statement.

Who/what is the origin of all these mistranslations? I fear for the preservation of our Islamic heritage.

the contact number is on the poster if you would like to correct them in what the poster designer has quoted.

Aside from that, May Allah swt forgive them for their shortcomongs but the MPSG are doing alot of hard work to support the aseer and their families and this should be the main point of discussion, and if anyone would like to offer support for your brothers in prison MPSG offer a practical way of doing so.

the MPSG are doing alot of hard work to support the aseer and their families

And have been doing for 14 years maashallah.

We also offer direct support to the prisoners through the delivery of material, spiritual and legal aid. In addition we also offer logistical and emotional support for the family and friends of incarcerated Muslims.
