Is there such a thing as an 'Islamic State'?

To what extent is maajid nawaz etc correct in this issue?

How would an Islamic state differ to saudi arabia ( thats regarded by the ulema as an Islamic state too)? Other then foreign policy?

i hope you didn't ask this question to cause fitnah

i personally wouldn't agree with those ulemas, kafirs are treated better than muslims from small countries, they made it haraam for foreigners to marry saudi girls, they have riba banks.... we can go on and on.

for me the closest thing to islamic state was somalia and only lasted 6 months, and guest what? that islamic state your ulemas love gave air base for the enemies of islam to bomb and kick them out of power.

brother you have ears to hear and eyes to see.... please dont blame ulemas for your own bad judgement.
