How is this person Taqi Usmani? How extreme is he? Which Sufi Tariqa does he follow?

Does he preach the same old crappy story that Wahabis are the 'evil' people that the Prophet (PBUH) warned about? (As for those who believe this click this Link) -

wa alaykum salam wa rahmatullah,

Ive never seen any work of his where he calls salafis wahabis. He is actually very balanced. Yes he is a maturidi, when describing ibn taymiya rahimahullah and his creed, he ofcourse disagrees with accepted sifaat upon the dhahir. But instead of accusing ibn taymiya rahimahullah of tajseem instead he makes excuses for ibn taymiya rahimahullah and states that perhaps ibn taymiya rahimahullah had the same creed as ahlus sunnah and that perhaps he just worded it very differently.

He is a sufi his link goes through mawlana ashraf ali thanawi rahimahullah. He actually is very just in his tasawwuf. he explains the sillyness of basically sufi saints having super powers etc.. He has spoken much against bidaah. he calls a lot to shariah. he loves mujahideen. etc..

his father is mufti muhammad shafi sahib rahimahullah he is the author of maariful quran.

The shaykh that he has bayah to in the tariqa is Dr. Abdul Hai Sahib rahimahullah. And mufti muhammad taqi uthmani hafidullah does call to Tasawwuf and promotes giving bayah to a shaykh.
