There is also the Berkshire Arabic Community Association (http://baca-online.co.uk/) whose aims include:• Teaching Arabic language and advance the education of the Arabic community of Berkshire within Arab history, philosophy, art, music, literature and culture.
• Support Muslim Arab families in the Berkshire and surroundings areas to integrate positively within the society without losing their cultural values and, helping them to find facilities within the community.
• Establish a public Arabic and Islamic library.
• Promote charitable cultural events for the benefit of Arabic Community in Berkshire.

Is there anything happening in Milton Keynes? Arabic or Tajweed classes for sisters... perhaps even in the Luton area - something regular and structured?

Jzk!

there is stuff happening in luton alhamdulillah, Miton Keynes im not sure about, i work in MK and the muslims here dont seem to be too structured in their religous affairs, there isnt a salafi or deobandi mosque here, the salafi brothers book a community centre out for jummah every week where i attend to pray.

with regards to luton, let me know what your looking for exactly and what times are convenient and i will arrange inshallah

Milton Keynes and Luton? No chance of you overdosing on excitement br Magoo.
I heard that there's a strong Muslim community in MK, is that true?

My sister recently moved to MK and she's been looking for Qur'aan & tajweed classes for some time now. She said that if there isn't anything in MK then she doesn't mind going down to Luton - but it'll have to be in the mornings (preferably with a creche as she has a small child?). Please could you also find out if there are sister circles and general classes that she can attend?

I'd appreciate any help insha'Allaah! Jzk
