Not all versions of Photoshop support Arabic text. You'll need to get your hands on a Photoshop which has Arabic support (they call it Middle Eastern/Arabic version?).
There seems to be a link for it here, though I'm not sure if you have to pay to open up an account: LINK (http://www.winsoft.eu/support/download-adobe-photoshop.php)
The only other way I managed to get text in Photoshop was to just 'print screen' it off Mixrosoft Word and paste it as an image in Photoshop. This, of course, limits your ability to edit the text etc...

Try downloading aborasheed software. It works for all softwares.

Jazakallahu Khayrun bro! But how do I use it :o ? When I write it in Aborasheed, then I copy and paste it into Photoshop (the letters still don't connect)?

I don't know how much arabic you'll be writing, but if its a small amount then writing it in Microsoft word and pasting it in Photoshop normally works.

First you need to install the aborsheed fonts in your window/font folder.
And then you need to ......

yes it works, but its same like copy pasting a picture and its not clear as this software. Also you can edit the text whenever you want using aborsheed. It helped me in lot of applications like videoeditor, photoshop, powerpoint2007 where I had problem with fonts.

Umar, between the first 2 screenshots, where did you click in order for the text to be displayed in the left window?
There are 4 Icons in the upper left corner.
