Assalaamu Alaikum
Has anyone had the chance to read or even glance the book? The book is like 112$. That's pretty darn expensive. lol
Anyways, I thought it'd be great if people leave feedback on the book, insha'Allah. Perhaps even mention few important points drawn from the book. Also, perhaps errors if they exist.

Well, to be honest, I don't have the cash to purchase a book that expensive, but what I'll do is visit local Islamic bookstore just to read and take notes.
Insha'Allah. I'm sure the uncle (owner) will let me borrow it if I seem devoted, hehe.

Wouldn't this book be available for free online in Arabic?

The book is basically a translation of Suyuti's abridgement of ibn Taymiyya's critique of the Philosophers/Logicians (ar.Radd 'al al-Matiqiyin')- you can probably get the arabic edition for pocket money. Even then, my guess is that you'd have to be thoroughly grounded in Aristotle and kalam before you could appreciate IT's critique of them.
As for why it's so expensive- that's academic publishing for you! To make a return the author has to charge obscene amounts of money even for short books- because the only people to order his books will be university libraries etc.
If you're in London I can guess that SOAS will have at least one copy.

SOAS has a copy. Bro, if you're really serious about doing this (and are in London and have a student pass) you can arrange a day to come down and read/photocopy as much as you like from it- if you aren't a SOAS student but are part of the university of London, you can look at books but not withdraw them.

As you can see they have a few of IT's works in arabic, but clearly there was no rhyme or reason in their method of choosing which to buy!

Well, I wish I knew Arabic, but unfortunately, I don't. By the way I live in the US, so no chance of me getting hands on that book. :(
Khair, still studying the matter.
