A horrible translation.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but the meaning is that Paradise is at the feet of the husband, just like there is a hadeeth that says that Paradise is under the feet of the mother.

That's what I was thinking, about the hadith that paradise lies under the feet of your mother, by being obedient to her, just like a wife being obedient to her husband. There is nothing wrong with that, but in her rant, she actually makes people visualize a woman's head under her husband's tyrannical foot, so that's why it seems that way, even though there is really nothing wrong with it. Could someone give me a link to the awlaki lecture where he mentions this; and what about Wikipedia?

Juzzak Allah khair, I'll listen to it at work tonight. But as for what I read from the Wikipedia article, and it turns out the story was from Ibn Ishaq and Ibn Sa'd, and may or may not be accurate, there is nothing about a mob of people ripping her limb from limb and shouting 'Allahu Akbar.' This is an exaggeration, much like how she changed 'feet' to 'foot' to give the image of a head under someone's foot in defeat.

Anyway, I've stopped watching Wafa Sultans videos because she sets my blood boiling and I can't do anything about it. Someone was mentioning her latest video, about how when insulting the Prophet [SAW] she looked ballistic and almost in a trance.

I'll leave it to Allah subhanna wa ta'ala to deal with her, those who insult the Prophet sallalahu alayhi wasallam will eventually get what they deserve.
