A LAWYER exposed by The Sun for appearing at an extremist rally was under investigation last night – and could be struck off.
The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) was studying our film of Mudassar Arani sharing a stage with hate cleric Omar Bakri’s right-hand man, Anjem Choudary.
The footage showed Arani, 45 – whose firm has raked in £2.4million in legal aid – speaking in front of 100 fanatics.
She sits beside Choudary, 41, moments after he claimed a Muslim flag would one day “fly over Downing Street” following a holy war.

She also passes on messages from terrorist Dhiren Barot, caged for life in 2006 for plotting radioactive bomb attacks in Britain and the US.
Ugandan-born Arani said Barot wanted to tell them: ‘No matter what they do to me . . . I will remain strong’.
She also urged the crowd to bombard prisons with complaints to get cushier treatment for extremists such as hate preacher Abu Hamza.

On the tape, released on an extremist website, she adds: “My destiny is not controlled by no judge, no Law Society.
“ My destiny is controlled by Allah.”
Under their code of conduct, solicitors must act with integrity – and not in a way that could damage public trust.
The SRA confirmed yesterday it was investigating Arani and asked for a copy of our 45-minute film – made last year.
We handed it to head of investigations Mike Calvert.
The SRA said solicitors who breach the rules face a fine of up to £2,000 and could be struck off by a tribunal.
