wa alaykum slaam,
Akhi AM, You know the brothers will ask you why this scholar is not a government scholar altho he has not (to my knowledge) declared the King outside the fold.
Actually he met the king a few times last year did he not? He is the same sh. who called against the two liberal writers yes?
May Allah preserve Sh. al-Baraak.

May Allah preserve Shaykh Abdur-Rahman Al-Baraak as he is from the few independent scholars who actually say anything close to this. Other senior scholars in the government establishment believe the same thing as him but don't say anything as it will harm relations with america and iran.
He basically says that the Jihad in iraq is a legitimate jihad against two enemy's the Christians and the Rafida and calls Allah to destroy them and break their unity and when saying it is legit jihad he said who can say otherwise.

Wa Alaykum As Salam
Here:
Questioner : The questioner asked a question about the jihad in Iraq and about those who misunderstand the Mujahideen's call and say that they are Khawarij and His Hizbiyeen.
The Sheikh: The answer is what has been said before; It is a jihad. A jihad against the Kuffar and the occupation of Muslim countries, whose evil will not stop in Iraq but who want more than this.
They are two enemies working together and have allied against Ahlu Sunnah in Iraq and elsewhere. Moreover, they have an alliance with the other enemy - The Rawafid (shia).
We ask Allah to make their plans to go astray.
We ask Allah to destroy them and to split their unity and that the Muslims Ahlu Sunnah overcome their enemy: the christians and the Raafidi.
Questioner: He says: (those who call them khawarij) claim on salafiya and athariya to be .. (interupted )
The Sheikh: What matters is that the fight against the unbelievers is a jihad. Who dares to doubt that?
Who dares to doubt that? Who dares to doubt that? Who dares to doubt that? (repeated by video producer)

We must remember though that Shaykh Al-Baraak is a major deviant for studying under Bin Baaz for 50yrs and not decalairing him a disbeliever even once... and subhanallah even showing a profound admiration for him!!!

or maybe he is a "Terrorist Lover" according to the Grand Mufti and Sh. Fawzaan?
Should he be reported to the authorities as they insist?
Two sides to this coin my brother. :)
