Interesting point about the blurred line betwen defensive and aggressive wars. Quite clearly a purely defensive struggle doesn't end with you then conquering the other party, even if they did start the hostilities.

Afghanistan is an Islamic country so it is Muslim vs. Muslim and don't be so naive as to believe the only killers, homos etc were Northern Alliance.
The Taliban are infamous for thier bachi boys, ask anyone in Kandahar, Helmand provinces and they will tell you Taliban homosexuality was/is rampant.
