You do realise that in order to be able to have this done for your house, you'd need another three wives and a dozen or so concubines? :D

When I become a super-Shaykh I will get some gullible brothers to sort me house out for free! :D

Not with the way the property market is going.
Give it five years and even non-Muslims will start telling you that mortgages are haram :D

when i asked the sis "mufti" in madinah in the women's side of the masjid about the beggars and who to give sadaqah to, she said these people deserved it the most because of their khidmah.
what's funny though is how they've got BIN LADEN group written on the back of their clothes!

LOL How ironic, and I bet our brothers will be telling us otherwise!
Yes, 'bin ladin' on their backs is funny! One brother asked a cleaner to gift him his shirt!

The estate agent will give you a fatwa saying it is haram, and will criticise the modernist for laxity...

actually the 'bin ladin' has before it a prefix printed on the shirts. That prefix means a pimp in urdu/panjabi. An anti-wahabi aquaintance i was doing 'umrah with me once, wondered aloud why would they place that on their backs.

It is bro...but many of the words we dont like are actually classic urdu. If u read some urdu classics [no i am not talking about the Manto or Chirkeen], u will find words which we wud be ahsamed to say infront of our children or parents. infact the 'r' word for courtesans in urdu is actually classical urdu.

we have dallah hotels (http://www.dallah-hotels.com/english/taibah.htm) in KSA.
and yes the sight of these haram workers and their 'haramcaptors' is an amazing sight! They come with their ribbons, making space and seperating the people and within seconds they clean the holy masajids!
Most of the workers are from pakistan etc and they are old, very nice and humble masha'Allah, a job to envy!

Well the clared/burgundy passport can triple my pay potentially....but i am still sure i dont want to live in the west.
my sister in law has been married into canada, and since summers have arrived, my wife complains she feels ill by seeing nearly naked women in the markets. Add to it that her sister isnt even religious!! Man, must be quite a job living in the west and raising kids

A courtesan is, to put it bluntly, a prostitute... a high-end one. Usually hung out with kings, politicians, random rich guys, etc.
