i fully agree with what has been written and i, myself, am currently going through severe marital problems. I have been married under 8 months and it has already turned pear shaped. My wife and i are happy together, but her failure to settle in a new country has resulted in unsettling us both. Of course there's the mother-in-law issue too, which can easily be overcome if my wife acts on some of the advise i continually offer her.Things are made harder for her by failing to work the issues through, but, instead, she continues to run away.
I know that i have been at fault over many things. I've always tried to offer solutions when i should have actively listened instead. I have worked hard and have, unfortunatly, made mistakes in the process, but me intentions have always been good.
I will fight hard to make this marriage work

I myself moved to a new country , 8 months is not enough time to settle down, we sisters are emotional and the upheaval of moving to a new country, new marriage and inlaws its a lot to take on at once.
Having children and making one's own family helps as the routine of running a home ect takes over.
May Allaah bless your marriage and grant you both patience ameen
