Far from Allah, sunken in despair. Hoping for life, wealth, and position...Ignoring the inevitable, the hereafter. Being mesmorized by glamour and vanity, seeking life at its fullest. Seeking praise, seeking acknowledgement, seeking it yet from the most evil ones. Lost, but lost in your desires is what you lost, and that's all you long for daily. A heart that is completely hallow now. No soul, no conscious, and no loyalty. Far from Allah, sunken in despair. Tears deservingly locked, unable to drip due to humiliation. A smile given not as charity but as an an appeal, striving to always appeal by materialism. Less loved ones around, more benefactors on guard. Money lost value, money has accumulated without spendure, true spendure to the poor. Restrained, confined, shackled with sins, yet, completely oblivious. You are oblivious to what is happening to you though you are aware of the truth. A blind eye, a lame excuse, another helpless being. Far from Allah, sunken in despair. Age becomes a burden, life becomes short. Pain becomes a close-friend, greed becomes an associate. Selfishness grows with age, a obliteration of social pleasure. Lonliness, suicide, and anger. You feel as though you want to escape, to explode, and to restart. Denied compassion, love, and faith. All because you are far from Allah, now sunken in your despair.
Now, who wishes for such a life?
Allah says,
"But whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is a life narrowed down, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgment." [20:124]
I ask Allah to keep us all steadfast. Ameen.
