WRONG PRISONER NUMBER ISSUED FOR BABAR AHMAD
Unfortunately Woodhill Prison issued the wrong prisoner number to members of
Babar’s family. The erroneous number has since been publicised widely via
the internet and at the Stop Police Conference yesterday as part of the
address to write to Babar Ahmad and in spite of the fact that the family and
others have sent letters and money (without which he cannot purchase small
items or make phone calls).
Please write to Babar as soon as possible at the correct address below:

There is absolutely nothing illegal in writing a message of encouragement –
inaction arising from fear or apathy is playing directly into the hands of
Blunkett, Blair and Bush.
With regards to the Muslims, we are obliged to relieve the distress
of another believer and to do all we can to support them, emotionally,
morally or financially, acting on the statement of the Prophet (salla
Allahu ‘alayhi was-salam), “Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of
the distressful aspects of this world, Allaah will rescue him from a
difficulty of the difficulties of the hereafter… Allah is helping the
servant as long as the servant is helping his brother." (Muslim).
