Sahabah educational system

assalaamu alaykum...
does any one know anything bout the Sahabah educational system..like who taught wat?..after the Rasool sal Allaahu alayhi wa salaams death were schools opened?..

all i remember is that the tabe3een came after them i think. and yes schools, or madarasas were opened in many places. baghdad was the center of islam. education was always taught from the time of rasulullah till now. whether it took place at home or at the masjid. asalamu alaykum wrwb.
