Firstly, the athar is a very weak if not fabricated one, from the book "Kitab al-Fitan" by Nu'aym ibn Hammad, and this was one of the books that Imam Ahmad called "worthless".

Secondly, the proper wording of the narration was "the family of 'Abbas", not the family of 'Isa. The wording "family of 'Isa" would have been due to a mistake by one of the writers, because in early Arabic handwriting, 'Abbas may easily be confused with 'Isa, because ba' and ya' would have been written without dots and therefore confused with each other, the alif in 'Abbas was not always written back then (like in the mus'haf), and the final ya' in 'Isa might be difficult to distinguish from the end of the letter sin.

Thirdly, it is clear that this narration - like the majority of weak narrations about the Mahdi - was most probably fabricated by one of the various conflicting political groups at the beginning of the 'Abbasi rule; this much would be clear to anyone familiar with these kinds of narrations who has knowledge of what was going on in the Muslim world at that time.

In conclusion, although the issue of the Mahdi is true and agreed-upon by the vast majority of scholars, however things like in that video should not be taken seriously at all.

Firstly the mistake was that the narrator said Abbas not 'Eesa (Jesus) because in other versions (which you can see and hear on the video) it only says 'Eesa.

So obviously when you have different versions of a Hadith and only one version is unsure about whether it was Abbas or 'Eesa and other narrators did not have such doubts and just said 'Eesa then obviously it must have been 'Eesa and not Abbas.

And also since the narration is narrated by more than one chain it is unlikely that it was fabricated especially since it does not benefit any sect or group... you say it was fabricated by some sects during the Abbasi rule but your claim is only based on the assumption that the Hadith said Abbas when in fact only one version says Abbas and in that case the narrator is unsure.

As for why the narrator is unsure it is because as explained on the video no one at the time believed that 'Eesa (pbuh) had descendants, so the narrator must have thought there was something wrong with the Hadith as he could not understand it so he said it may have been Abbas, but when you look at the other version of the Hadith it just says 'Eesa.

So there is absolutely no reason why this narration should have been fabrictaed as it would not benefit any sect or group.

Now interestingly in Shia books this narration is altered, thery have their own version of it that says the first voice would tell people to be followers of Imam Ali and the second would say be followers of Uthman !!!!!!!!!! Hahahahaha, Im not kidding. It is soooooo typical of them

The shias have another version that says the first voice would say follow Mahdi and the second would say follow Sufyani.

But the Sunni version is of course the original and althought in the past people could not understand it today we see that it is making a lot of sense as they propagate the claim that Jesus ('Eesa) had children and his descendants live today.
