As-Salaamu 'alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh
Last year, brother Zaki and a group of brothers walked from Lewisham Masjid to Regent's Park Masjid in order to raise money for Lewisham Masjid and Alhamdulillah they raised over £7000. Brother Zaki has again organised another walk but this time around it will be in Ladywell Park Insha Allah. The money raised will go towards helping the masjid out of debt.
This time around, the walk has been designed so that everyone can participate. In order to ensure Islamic Ettiquettes are observed, the sisters will take a different route around the park to the brothers. Also, since the walk will be from 1pm till 4pm, it will mean that 'Asr will have to be prayed in the Park. The sisters will have a marquee in order to pray in privacy Insha Allah.
