Assalam-alaikum,

I'm wondering if anyone knows whether it is haram for sisters to attend university...

Some say it is haram for sisters and not for brothers because brothers have to provide for their family etc..but due to the immoral atmosphere that may be present its haram for sisters..

Can someone with knowledge and evidence on this matter reply please..

Also, those who told you that it is Halal/Haram, if they are not qualified to give legal verdicts, pay no attention to them at all. You will be a lot less confused.
