These sufi rubbish spread in Chechnya about 150 years ago. The most famous ustaz Kishi-hajj lived during the times of Imam Shamyl. Imam Shamyl even though he too was a sufi from naqshbandi tariqa, was much closer to Sunna than these guys. All of these sufies came to Chechnya from Dagestan and to there they came from turkey. Turkey used to print and distribute sufi literature and spread it in the muslim world, and in those times, books were very rare, so people followed what they had. Alhamdulillah, now this problem is dissapearing, but still these sufies consider themselves to be the purest muslims, and they are pretty fanatical about this. But those who think for themselves leave these bida, just as I did, I too at one point was running in circles like these guys.

The young generation can realise the truth, but the older generation, we just have to wait until they naturally dissapear. By the way, the old man was killed during this war, if I am not mistaken, some say by the mujahedeen for collabaration. Mujahedeen also killed one shaytan, who used to walk around naked, who used to say that people should not make hajj to makka anymore, since visiting 'holy zeyart' in Chechnya was better. Apparently when a mujahed put a gun to his head, the shaytan claimed that he would not be able to kill him. He was wrong :)

No wonder the absolute majority of those who are defending sharia still in Sheeshan are the so-called wahhabies, i.e. ahlus sunna.

It does seem as though the deviated have never read Al Quran for themselves. They probably go to gatherings and follow whatever some ahl al bid'ah is saying. I almost become one of these deviated people (shia, sufi, bareilwiyat) but never participated in anything. Most of the time it lasted for a week or so, I think it was Shaytan playing tricks with the mind. Alhamdulillah.

Granddad nutcase was killed by a Mujahedeen? Serves him right, these lot call this (zikr, running, going round in circles) jihad. lol

I dunno, sometimes I want to help them, give them dawah, bring them onto the straight path and unite with them whilst other times I have more hatred than love for them and think the deserve to burn in hell.

the absolute majority of these people, just as those who dont practice islam, except in ramadan maybe, they are all very ignorant. Many of those who do these bida, and their 'ulama' know the truth, but as it says in the quran, they can not leave the way of their forefathers as they say. They do not realise that if their forefathers hadn't converted to islam thus leaving paganism of their own forefathers, they would still be pagan. Some of their ulama, fear the people, so they just blend in and say nothing against these bida. May Allah guide them and us.
