Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
It was the time when the fitnah of Musaylimath Al-Kazzab (The Liar) rose its ugly head in the united Muslim Ummah. Musaylimah bacame so bold in his claim of prophethood that he wrote a letter to our Nabi SalAllaahu alaihi wa sallam inviting him to his fabricated Deen. And a reply was immediately sent to Musaylimah refuting his false claim of prophethood.
But inspite of it, when Rasoolullaahi SalAllaahu alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam saw that his threat was growing with a large number of people going astray, another letter was sent to him with a strong admonition to turn away from this misguidance failing to which serious consequences will be faced.
And the chosen one for this mighty task of handling the letter is the hero of this story - Habeeb bin Zaid - may Allaah grant him the best that can ever be granted. For it is the likes of him that we should aspire for and make examples to be followed as you will soon read in the coming lines.
As per the command of Rasoolullahi SalAllaahu alaihi wa sallam, Habeeb radhiyAllaahu anhu traversed the hills and valleys until he reached the settlements of Banu Haneefa and courageously handed over the Letter to Musaylimah, the Liar. The content of the letter enraged him and his face became furious. Without any delay Musaylimah sent forth the order to tie him up and imprison him to be presented before him the following day.
The next day a large number of his followers were assembled and Musaylimah seated himself to begin the show. Fettered in chains, Habeeb Bin Zaid RadhiyAllaahu anhu was brought forward. With an unchallenged courage and an undefeated faith with head raised high in dignity and honour, he was questioned by Musaylimah :
"Do you believe that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah?"
Habeeb : "Yes, I believe that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah."
Musaylimah (with rage) : "Do you believe that Im a Messenger of Allaah?"
Habeeb (jokingly) : "My ears are deaf to hear these words of yours."
Musaylima became furious in his anger. Looking at his comrades he issued the order : "Cut off a piece of flesh from his body." So the sword was unsheathed and a piece of flesh from his blessed body was cut off until it fell on the ground. At this point, Musaylima repeated his previous question. And he gave the same reply. Again the order was given to slice off a piece of flesh from his body. His comrades did that again. The question of Musaylima and the cruel act of his comrades kept continuing. At all these times, there remained no reply from Habeeb Bin Zaid RadhiyAllaahu anhu except : I BEAR WITNESS THAT MUHAMMAD IS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAAH." For every question of Musaylimah, a piece of flesh fell on the ground until half of his body remained spread on the ground. And this continued till he got martyred in that place with the name of MUHAMMAD SalAllaahu alaihi wa sallam being the last words coming out from his lips.
Now coming to the crux of my Message. Upon hearing the news of her son's martyrdom, Habeeb bin Zaid's mother Umm Ammara RadhiyAllaahu anha just spoke the following GOLDEN words :
"IT WAS FOR SUCH A DAY THAT I BROUGHT HIM UP AND SURRENDERED
HIM IN THE PATH OF ALLAAH. As a child, he gave the Pledge of
Allegiance to the Prophet on the Night of Aqaba. And when he grew
up, he fulfilled his Pledge. If Allaah gives me the opportunity to
encounter Musaylimah, I will not but make the daughters of Musaylima
orphans."

And indeed among the believers are a few, if they were to take an oath, Allaah Will fulfil it for them. The banner of Jihad was raised by the best of this Ummah - As-Siddeeq - And Umm Ammara participated in it as a warrior roaring at the top of her voice like a brave lioness : "Where is the Enemy of Allaah? Show me the Enemy of Allaah." The time she found him, the liar was already in the pool of his own cursed blood, killed by the lions of Islaam......
This is a call to every mother that is reading my Message : For what end are you bringing up your children? Remember, a Day is surely approaching when a pregnant woman will lay off her burden due to witnessing the Horror of Allaah's Anger & Punishment, indeed He is Stern upon the evil ones.
O Mothers of Islam, Fear Allah lest you reach that Day wherein you lose all your children, for each one will have enough to look after his own concern. O Mothers of Islam and let it not be to add to your misery, that your children turn against you on that Day of Reckoning complaining to Allaah :
"Our Lord, our mother didnt teach us Your Religion. She granted us all our worldly wishes and desires but not for a moment educated us nor prepared us for the Meeting with You. So double the punishment for them for they are responsible for our fate."
But Alas, none can benefit nor harm any that Day. And the Justice of my Lord will be established.
So let not this world beguile you nor let its allurement make you forget your true identities. You are the hope of this Ummah. This Ummah is in need of individuals like Mus'ab ibn Umayr, Abdullah ibn Rawaha, Khalid Ibn Waleed, etc. And our eyes are fixed on you. For it is in your wombs that we stay and from there we come forth.
Remember the Prayer and the Oath of the mother of Maryam alayhimas salaam: "IVE INDEED TAKEN A VOW TO DEDICATE THE CHILD IN MY WOMB COMPLETELY FOR THE PATH OF ALLAAH." And to her surprise, it was a female. And as Allaah says: "And a male is not like a female."
But even then, a vow has to be fulfilled. The girl was named Maryam and was dedicated to Allaah completely. And SubhanAllaah, has the Earth witnessed any to the likes of her chastity and purity, among the four leaders of women in Paradise.
Her piety and devoutness to Allaah increased so much that the people took lots to take care of her provisions and look after all her needs. And SubhanAllaah, look at this matter. The lot went to an old Prophet Zakariyya Alayhis Salaam to fetch to her needs. But none were able to truly grasp of her high and noble station for SHE IS THE WORSHIPPER OF ALLAAH -Amathullaah - and her servitude, longing, love and eagerness for the Lord increased to such an extent that her Lord enriched her completely from every one else beside Him and every time Zakariyya Alayhis Salaam came, he found with her provisions and fruits that did not come out in that season nor in the nearby vicinity. "Who provided this?" "My Lord", came the reply.
ALLAAHU AKBAR. O Mothers of Islaam! dont you see how a single vow changed the history of mankind. Miracle after miracle. And indeed in Maryam and her child you have a sign.
SO WILL YOU NOT TAKE A VOW TO DEVOTE YOUR CHILD COMPLETELY
FOR THE PATH OF ALLAAH ???
So then, delay not now for the Call has reached you. And let not the Chief Deceiver deceive you nor this world beguile you.
Give the Best you have
And you will reap the best of rewards.
And if you stay back,
Then death for you, for cowards die many a times.
