Narrated Abu Hurairah RadhialLahu-`anhu, Allah's messenger SallAlLahu-alayhi wasallam said, "Once Sulayman Alayhissalaam said '(By Allah) tonight I will have sexual intercourse with one-hundred (or ninety-nine) women, of whom will give birth to a knight(a horse laden Mujhaid) who will fight in Allah's cause.' On that a companion of his said, 'Say Allah willing(InshaAllaah)', but he did not say Allah willing. Therefore only one of those women concieved and gave birth to a part of man. By him in whose hands Muhammad's life is, if he had said, 'Allah willing' (he would have begotten sons) all of whom would have been knights, striving in Allah's cause." (Saheeh Bukhari, Vol.1, p395)
O Fathers of Islaam.....in him is an excellent example to be followed. And do you think that our Nabi SallAlLahu-alayhi wasallam taught us the above hadees just like that - a mere narration of a story of the past.
Never!!! Rather in it is an advice for those who can read between the lines. So be bold and come forth with such lofty determinations to pro-create and bring forth from your loins such ferocious lions who will be the Pride of this Ummah. Such charismatic warriors whose very names will create tremor in the hearts of the enemies. Such disciplined soldiers in the Path of Allaah who will once again open the hearts and the lands to the Light of Islaam.
And here i quote just a single athar (narration) of Sayyidina Umar RadhiyAllaahu anhu. He said:
"Some times i unwillingly have sexual relationship with my wife with the
thought that may Allaah bring out from this act a being that Glorifies
and remembers Him."
SubhanAllaah....whatelse do we need after this??? Look at this matter, even when his heart is not in a mood of love making, he approached his wife with the only thought that may Allaah bring forth from this, someone who worships Him. Such were our salaf.
And truly we are in greater need of following such examples these days when the fitnah is widespread and the wickedness is overwhelming with Helpers of Allaah being very few.We are in need of increasing the Ibaadullaah so that they are used for furthering the Cause of Allaah.
So, let the fathers of Islaam devote themselves and their children for serving the Cause of Allaah.
And here i share with you what has reached me from a trustworthy brother about the complaint of one of our own sisters in Iraq. After being gang raped by the Pigs of the US Army, she just addressed this Ummah with a single request :
"O men(Rijaal) of this Ummah! in which there were the likes of Khalid bin
Waleed & Salaahuddeen Ayyubi. I do not expect from you to come out
like them and save us from this misery(Zilla) & oppression(dhulm). But
all this sister is asking from my brothers is to atleast take the courage
to come to me and rip off my belly and kill me before i give birth to the
child of a Kaafir."
Yaa Waylatha.....Wallaahi if one amongst the Sahabi was present here today he would have said "LABBAYK" and reached there to avenge for the blood and the honour of the Believers and indeed a single Believer is more honourable in the Sight of Allaah than the Black Stone which descended from the Paradise.
So what excuse are you making to cheat yourself from withholding from Jihad. Or is it that you have lost the Ghayrath from your hearts and i just quote one incident to show the level of the Ghayrath of the Sahaba to compare ourselves with them.
The Battle Of Banu Kaynaka:
This battle took place in Shawwal (2 A.H.) after the battle of Badr.
The Jews of the tribe of Banu Kaynaka broke the treaty which took place with the Prophet SallalLahu `Alayhi Wasallam and announced war against the Muslims. An incident also took place which made the situation worse.
A Muslim woman wearing a veil (who was the wife of an Ansari Muslim) came to a Jewish shop in Madinah. The Jews made a mockery of her (by sticking her cloak onto a nail, by which her cloak came off). WHEN A MUSLIM SAW THIS THERE WAS NO LIMIT TO HIS FURY AND HE KILLED THE JEW WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE. The Jews then killed the Muslim. The Prophet SallalLahu `Alayhi Wasallam warned them about their conduct, of which they took no heed and carried on boasting. The Prophet SallalLahu `Alayhi Wasallam marched towards them with the Muslim army. They fortified themselves in their castles. The Muslims laid a siege for fifteen days. They were subsequently exiled by the mediation of `AbdulLah Bin Obai (who had a treaty with them). They were seven hundred people in total from which thirty were in armour.
Read the words :WHEN A MUSLIM SAW THIS THERE WAS NO LIMIT TO HIS FURY AND HE KILLED THE JEW WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE. And we may say it was just a Hijab of a muslim woman which came out.But no, they had the ghayrath which we have lost in a complete manner that our muslim women are raped and killed naked by the enemy yet it moves not a hair of our body.
So prepare yourselves and devote your children for this Cause to make the Deen of Allaah dominant until the hands of oppressors are restrained and the rights are restored and Justice & Fairness is Established.
Abu Huraira RadhiyAllaahu anhu narrates that the Prophet SalAllaahu alaihi wa sallam said:
" A Prophet among the Prophets carried out a holy millitary expedition,
so he said to his followers,"Any one who has married a woman and
wants to consummate the marriage, and has not done so yet, should
not accompany me; Nor should a man who has built a house but has
not completed its roof; Nor a man who has a sheep or she-camels
and is waiting for the birth of their young ones." So, the Prophet
carried out the expedition and when he reached that town at the
time or nearly at the time of Asr Prayer, he said to the sun:
'O Sun! You are under Allaah's Order & Im under Allaah's Order.
O Allaah! Stop it from setting. It was stopped till Allaah
made him victorious.......
Saheeh Bukhari Vol 4 Hadeeth 353
Indeed in this single hadees there are a number of pearls of wisdom for any who wishes to attain the Truth and for those who contemplate......
But all i would like to explain here by the Help of Allaah is the first part of this hadeeth.
Contemplate.....our honoured fathers! Upon the three reasons which that Victorious Prophet stated in the above hadees.These are the reasons which may prevent the MUJAHIDEEN from concentrating whole heartedly in their activities which is one of the most essential pre-requisites for Victory. For how can we imagine to defeat the enemy force when we are ourselves not present in the Battlefield with our hearts.
Truly a half hearted battle is already lost.So let me list it out for you in order for you to start freeing yourself from these responsibilities. And Wallaahi, Laa Hawla Wala Quwwatha illa billaahi - There is no might nor any power except by Allaah.....You have to throw yourself before Allaah and fall down at His Door begging Him to free your forelock from the things that are preventing you from REACHING THE BATTLEFIELD.
For havent you read the life history of Salmaan Al Faarisee? Is there any amongst the Sahaba like him who aspired for the Coming of -The Promised Prophet? Born to a fire-worshipping family he abandoned them till he joined the People of Book and continued his pursuit of Truth until one after the other he finally reached Medina - The Promised Place.And it is indeed a famous incident that he was at the top of a tree when he first heard of the arrival of the Prophet SalAllaahu alaihi wa sallam.Let he himself describe it :
I was (one day) on a Palm-tree on top of one of its 'Adaaq (date-clusters) doing some work for my master. A first cousin of him came and stood in front of him (his master was sitting) and said: 'Woe to Banee Qeelah (people of the tribe Qeelah), they are gathered in Qibaa' around a man who came today from Mecca claiming that he was a Prophet!
When I heard that, I shivered until was about to fall down on my master. I came down and I said: what did you say? what did you say!? My master became angry and punched me with a powerful punch and said: What kind of business do you have in this (matter)?' Go mind your business. I said: 'Nothing! I just wanted to be sure of what he was saying."
But Oh Fathers of Islaam.....dont you know that this mighty Sahabi missed the First two Major Battles of Islam : BADR & UHUD? Such an heart filled aspiration didnt give this Sahabi the chance to be in the front lines of the battle field with his body bearing WITNESS (Shahadah) to Allaah, though we believe that Allaah Will give him the reward for his sincerity - InshaAllaah.
Pray to Allaah that it not be, when the Awaited Mahdi comes forth you are not in the front lines of his force.For indeed our Messenger SalAllaahu alaihi wa sallam has said regarding the First Battle that will be fought by Imam Mahdi and said:
"Disappointed will be the one who does not receive the booty of Kalb."
So pray to Allaah that you be not amongst the disappointed ones.And the truth is that the one who has not disciplined himself with JIHAD in the FRONTLINES OF THE BATTLE FIELD before the Arrival of Mahdi will not be able to do it after his arrival.
Now coming to the Three Causes :
1.) Any one who has married a woman and wants to consummate the marriage, and has not done so yet, should not accompany me.
This case needs no further explanation.Such a man will never be able to give his complete self for the Cause of Allaah.For his heart will be back at home as the saying goes "Home is where heart is". Hence the Prophet didnt allow such individuals to join his rank for that will only do more harm than good.It will help us here to contemplate on the fact that Uthman RadhiyAllaahu anhu didnt witness the Battle of Badr as his wife was sick at the verge of death.
2.) A man who has built a house but has not completed its roof.
This is the case of that man who is dipped in the ocean of financial responsibilities. Hence that Prophet didnt want such a man to join his rank for it is upon him whom his entire family is depending for sustenance.
3.) A man who has a sheep or she-camels and is waiting for the birth of their young ones.
Once again the case of a man who is not able to stand on his own feet and indeed this MIGHTY TASK of JIHAD is truly in need of wealth.
So, fall down before Allaah and ask Allaah to free yourself until you prepare yourself gradually to reach a day wherein He Will find you in the frontlines of the Battlefield ready to submit to your life for Him.
And let not Satan whisper into your hearts making excuses from staying back. For none of these reasons and excuses are valid from the viewpoint of a believer but all this hadees is stating is that THE AMEER OF THE MUJAHIDEEN has the right to choose his soldiers.
As it is well known in the books of fiqh, to quote just one here:
Ibn Abidin said: " Jihad becomes Fard Ayn if the enemy attacks one of the borders of the Muslims, and it becomes Fard Ayn upon those close by. For those who are far away, it is Fard Kifaya, if their assistance is not required. If they are needed, perhaps because those nearby the attack cannot resist the enemy, or are inactive and do not fight jihad, then it becomes Fard Ayn upon those behind them, like the obligation to pray and fast. There is no room for them to leave it. If they too are unable, then it becomes Fard Ayn upon those behind them, and so on in the same manner until the jihad becomes Fard Ayn upon the whole Ummah of Islam from East to the West".
In short....start to free yourself from the Preventive Matters whatever they be and Allaah knows the Hypocrites and is Sufficient to Help the Sincere ones.
