Istiqamah ala sirat ul mustaqeem

What do the kibaar al ulama , advise us regarding istiqama on the straight path ? Instead of wavering here and there, but to be firm and unshakeable.

There is a short and concise writing on this by Shaykh 'Abdur-Rahmaan ibn Naasir al-Barraak (hafidhahullah) that could be referred to in shaa' Allah called al-Istiqaamah: Haqeeqatuhaa, Asbaabuhaa, Aathaaruhaa (http://www.islamlight.net/albarrak/books/albarrak-07.doc).

is to make duaa to Allah all the time to keep u stead fast on right path.

here is one duaa u can say

ya muqalibal qulub thabbet qalbi 'ala deenik

Oh one who changes the hearts keep my heart steadfast on ur deen.
