Im Scottish and proud, Im never British (I dont believe in anything it stands for)

Those who want to hold onto something British, let them all move to south east England where they can keep their Pounds of currency and weight. Everyone else is ready to move on to metric and the Euro.

Gordon Brown with his Britishness speach has shown he wants to hold us back as previously by keeping the £. He will create independance if he gives nothing, he cant hold us all back.

are there any prior discussions on this forum concerning the permissability of traveling to non-Muslim countries? I ask this cause some brothers over here (America) routinely engage in this sort of discussion.

Coming from a loss of identity angle, I have argued that more Muslims have lost touch with thier deen to the point where in a generation or two, you will have grandparents of originally Muslim immigrants having no idea what Islam is and taking names like 'Mike' or "Darrell" and either taking up hedonism as thier deen or even Christianity.

that's just something I throw into the discussion when I try to outline what I think are fatal circumstances of moving over here.
