I was just wondering, are we supposed to raise our hands when performing these athkaar (as-sabaah wal-masaa') or is it from the sunnah to leave them down and just recite them? I personally started off with my hands raised to Allaah swt but I was then told that they should be kept down.

Could someone please clarify which way is from the authentic sunnah? And if you know any other things about the authentic duaas please share in shaa Allah.
