I had a friend who is looking for advice on what commentary to purchase. He is choosing between Syed Qutb's and Mawdudi's works. He is aware that there are some issues in both of those works, but he is also aware that, despite some errors, they have some benefit.
I don't have any of those, but I was wondering if anyone on this board has read them or knows enough on them to comment? If you had to choose one, which would you chose?
