Those teachers are both wahhabis, and those books are all wahhabi. 'Ideological Attack' was by Sh. Bin Baz (r), I think 'exquisite pearl' was Sh. ibn 'Uthaymin (r)

1. I am not an authority to declare who is a Hanbali and who is not, unless if there is someone who is an outright lying con-artists, for such people can be noticed from miles away.

2. All I can do is comment on *some* issues in accordance with my limited knowledge, as to what the madhab position is, what an acceptable or a non-acceptable position is, etc.

3. Being a Hanbali in fiqh does not always make one a Sunni. We have also had our own share of Jahmis or those who agreed with some Jahmi principles, although, predominantly, the Hanbalis have been very staunchly against 'ilm al-kalam.

4. One of the reason for the downfall of the 'first generation salafis' was that they focused on personalities, and were to shallow, and/or bigoted to focus on issues. Let us not go down that route, at all. If a person says the truth, he is commended for that. If he speaks falsehood, he is refuted and the truth is made clear, and this is where the matter ends.
