Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
I am a new member to this forum, but I have known Abu Zubair for well over 12 years...he is like a younger brother to me.
I live in London, and have many different interests and hobbies. I love writing, and pray one day I can make it as a writer. I have a special interest in Social Issues, affecting both Muslims and non-Muslims, and have studied an introductory course in Initial Counselling Skills, which is something I recommend all Muslims to gain some knowledge and experience in.
I am a very easy going person, and can discuss many different issues with people of all sorts of backgrounds. I'm always up for a good discussion, but at times I can get a bit long winded, and maybe say things which I shouldn't...it's a weakness which I am trying to overcome!:o And if the topic of the conversation is not something I approve of, or just do not want to partake in, I will let the other person know.
Can't say much else, but I hope to have a good time here. My Islamic knowledge is a bit lacking, so I do not know how much I can positively contribute to the richness of the forum with real 'Ilm!
With that I say Jazzkum Allahu Khairan for bearing with this long post, and I pray that Allah Gives you all the success in this life and in the Hereafter.
Wassalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah
Ibn Abul Ma'ali (He was my ancestor, who my father's family tree goes back to. A King who travelled to India from Iraq. He is buried in Utter Pardesh, the largest State in India, where the famous Aligarh University is.)
