Where I am they are just bumps in the ground, just the dirt from the hole that the body has now filled.
Just a side issue here , the non muslims have gone way over the top with their graves , especially for babies and children they have all these rattles and things that move in the wind , its pretty noisy, but they put them there thinking their child wont be afraid , its heartbreaking actually , but they are looking for comfort which only Islaam can give.
