I've a strong feeling (based on numerous threads on various forums) that this thread is going nowhere fast.

We opened the Living Room part of the forums in order to "Discuss or swap notes on sports, health & fitness, secular studies, recipes, local news, etc. Have light hearted and laid back discussions, but just do not fall off your chairs!" Not to have heated inter-gender debates where each side (often unmarried people, I might add) list their grievances with the other gender.

Everyone knows that the two genders see the world differently and we don't need internet forums or copious amounts of threads to confirm that.

So my advice to everyone is to turn to more beneficial topics and if you're a sister and you happen to read the above posts then don't respond to the allegation. There are numerous women out there in full possession of the above listed qualities, so lets just leave it at that shall we?

I personally prefer shy girls too, but it seems that their time is almost over.

Modern day emancipation has given women the means to be independent from men, so they are naturally becoming freer in their behavior. Shyness and quietness are usually signs of insecurity in oneself, but women are less and less insecure. Traditional position of women in the family has changed, they are demanding more rights for themselves. This has both good and the bad sides, but we guys will have to learn to adopt to this.
