The Prophet - SallAllahu 'alayhi wa-sallam used to seek refuge from laziness:


اللهم إني أعوذ بك من العجز والكسل والجبن والهرم والبخل، و أعوذ بك من عذاب القبر، وأعوذ بك من فتنة المحيا والممات وضلع الدين وغلبة الرجال

wa'alaikumus salaam wa rahmatullah,

It helps if you make a timetable of your daily/weekly activities – and (more importantly), stick to it.
You can easily identify your free slots, and think of something useful to do.

Your level of motivation in any task will relate to your desire to succeed in it.
