I'd say he still is confused, at least as far as Islam is concerned.

"I didn't believe what the preacher was telling me - I was so angry. For the life of me I just couldn't see why it was wrong to have a coffee with a girl and treat her as a friend and fellow human being. Surely that is Islamic behaviour?"

"Take the Islamic beard issue," he says. "The Prophet Mohammed had a beard. So people say you must have a beard to be a good Muslim. But he didn't have a mobile phone, did he? He didn't drive either. So should we use one or not?

Good for a laugh, but not good for much else.

Anyone will be confused when he seems to not know enough about Islaam to actually adhere to it.

"Take the Islamic beard issue," he says. "The Prophet Mohammed had a beard. So people say you must have a beard to be a good Muslim. But he didn't have a mobile phone, did he? He didn't drive either. So should we use one or not?

The Phrophet ordered the men to have a beard . what a silly outlook he has.
