I attended last night a graduation function in Dubai http://www.gulfnews.com/nation/Education/10124229.html, where the key note speaker was Seymour Hersh the who is an investigative journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner, who broke the My Lai massacre, and more recently the Abu Ghraib abuse story, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seymour_Hersh.
His speech was good he talked about how he is against Bush's interference in several muslim countries , he knows all about the word "fitan" and "salafists" He seemed to think his audience was shia as he alluded that Bush or any consequent American Goverment will only look to support sunni's and will put a wedge between sunnis and Shia's
He was amusing as well saying he did not think he would go down too well over here, and had warned the Dean that he speaks the truth no matter what , there were a few shocked faces when he said " we are marking the days from the calander for when Bush leaves office"
I wish his speech had been longer , but there you have it .
