Assalaamulekum

Brother abu zubair.....in your htexposed website you say that HT have the beleif that thye beleive teh quraan as being the intended word of Allah.......lke the asharees say....have u got a reference on this? Also why dont you add soem stuff on it like the issues of imaan you once wrote......this is because HT was going through a bad phase and now they seem to be arising, this time their trying to be smarter by going on islaam channel, having Muslims rap group blak stone and also pretending the cooperate with other islamic groups in******* their marches......although that is just a farce by which they can spread......

sorry have to type fast jazak Alllahu Khayran

As-Salaamu******* ‘Alaikum brother,

It’s been a very long time since we debated HT brothers, and I wont remember any of the references… However, the belief (that the Quran is only an expression of Allah’s eternal speech and not actually His speech), is one of the hallmarks of Ash’arite theology. For HTs not to share the same belief would come as very shocking.

Please do note, that HTs are not all evil. Like all other groups, they have faults and they have praiseworthy aspects too. Looking at the crisis we are going through at present, perhaps it is more in our interests to try to bring everyone together, than to turn everyone away. It is surely time for us to co-operate in projects we all agree. It does not, however, mean that we should look over their errors. What it means is that while we criticise them, let’s not overlook their good aspects and co-operate with them in all projects of righteousness and piety.

contrary to people's assumption, I am not behind htexposed... although, they used some of my writings.

do you still stand by what you wrote in those articles on htexposed including the 'leaftlet' on the Reality of the Sect, Hizb ut-Tahrir ?

I stand by what I wrote, which does not include the leaflet. I don't know why I should be taken to account for other people's writings. From what I wrote, there might have been exaggerations on my part and even some factual errors, knowing that I wrote that about seven years ago, when I wasn't even a beginner in Shara'i knowledge. I was simply relying on other works already out on HT, HTs own literature and various works on Khabar al-Ahad.
