Just checked out the homepage www.islamicawakening.com

Great site, lots of good articles there.

Apologies to the founder of this site, Brother Abu Zubair, for me being too hasty in my conclusions/assumptions.

You have seriously put in a lot of work and may Allah reward you for it.

May Allah unite our hearts.

JK for your appreciation, bro.

Except that those who deserve the credit are the rest of the mods here who are pretty much running everything behind the scenes.

I only do refutations, lol (unfortunately :( )

No, you do a wonderful job, Masha-Allah. (Maybe just be a *bit* softer, hehe. :p )

I've finally found a group whose views I like in totality. I've been on Sunni Forum, and obviously didn't fit in there since I did not like their Sufi-ness...I've lurked on salafi-talk.net, and I hated it there for their softness towards corrupt regimes and their extreme harshness towards Islamists (people like Ash-Shaheed Sayyid Qutb [r])...on the other hand, I've seen various extremist sites that sympathize with terrorists and terrorism, and obviously hated those too...

This here seems like just the right balance...

I think it will take time to fit in here and adjust on this forum, but I see it happening, Insha-Allah.

Because of much of the nonsense said by al-Ubaykan, which has earned him the nickname of "Mufti of America."

I'll try digging up some the links later, insha'Allah.

Didn't Al-'Ubaykaan get sacked for speaking the truth back in the 90's? Or have I been misinformed?

He was once an extremist (http://www.asharqalawsat.com/details.asp?section=1&issue=9665&article=299358)like most of the extremists here.

He then became a liberal (http://vb.roro44.com/31288.html), as most of the extremist here will become.

I cannot get the 'rm' file below (or any rm file for that matter) to work on my machine. It will not work on the site as it says the plug-in is missing, it finds it and installs it but that never makes a difference.

If I save the rm file ot my hard-drive I still cannot get it to play. Any suggestions?

Sorry, it's an RA file.

Yes, I have Real Player and that it was it finds everytime I look for a plug-ins. It installs it but nothing ever happens. Although, Real Player works for the BBC site now!

You are so helpful MosDef, as is everyone else.

1 question, do you know where the 'off' button to your PC is? LOL
