Wanted: [Free] salaf litrature on adab/akhlaaq, jihad, imaan and islam

When I read Ihya Uloom, I often see quotes from the salaf, for example the book 'On the manners relating to eating.' This book has some examples from the Salaf illustrating their hospitality. Are there any free English books out there that illustrate the above[see topic title]? Even articles are ok.
