I have become exposed to the Ashari and Matruddi arguements and beliefs recently and remembered that this forum, alhamdulilah, contains many refutations and explanations.

I require links for threads to read from a begginers perspective, essentially I want to read through the list of links the learned brothers here can provide, one after the other, to inshaaAllah get a foothold in understanding this vast topic.

Please don't think I am taking a lazy approach by posting this thread instead of using the search function, the reason I am making this thread is because I hope brothers (esp abuz-zubair) can take a little time to construct a list of links to read in a specific order to help build the best picture, from a beginners perspective.

I would appreciate a fast response, inshaaAllah -- I fear a state of confusion reaching me that, by Allah's will, can be avoided.

Jazaak Allahu Khayran bro (you have my email address, please send it there to me inshaaAllah, unless you want to upload it here on the forum).

I need to properly understand their arguements regarding Quraan being composed of methaphors and their view that it isn't literal and also the nature of Allah swt, i.e. their beliefs that go against that of the Salaf. I need to understand the correct beliefs as right now I have a vague understanding only.
