Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,

Just a post to inform everyone, that I will be partaking in this years London 10k Run on July 1st, Insha'Allah. I have just over a month to go, and I have to get my training into full gear.

Event: British 10K
Venue: London
Date: Sunday, 01 July 2007

"The British 10K is an annual event which takes place in central London with over 60,000 participants."

I will be running with a team representing a charity called the Muslim Youth Helpline (MYH). It is like Childline, but tailor made for Muslim Youth, though anyone is welcome to call, not just Muslims.

"MYH is a registered charity which provides pioneering faith and culturally sensitive services to Muslim youth in the community. Our core service is a free and confidential counselling service available nationally via the telephone, email and internet."

MYH has dealt with over 650 cases of Abuse
Most abuse take place at home

Over 4,000 cases of self harm, suicidal thoughts and depression
It only takes a few words to give them hope.

If you would like to make an online donation, Insha'Allah, then you can via the link below to my personal donation page, or you can give me a donation in person when we meet (the donation isn't for me, it is for MYH!) Any amount will do, it's the thought that counts. My personal target is to raise £150, any more will be an added extra!
