Here is an email I received from the City Circle, advertising a fundrasing do for Homeless people. No problems so far, until I got to the last section of the email

Muneera Rashida and Sukina Abdul Noor are POETIC PILGRIMAGE - an
exciting female Hip Hop and poetry duo with a fresh sound, intelligent
lyrics and courageous characters. They are one of the few Islamic
female outfits around and are unafraid to express themselves through
the art of rhyme, covering social issues whilst in constant praise of
Allah. Poetic Pilgrimage demonstrated their unique style at Living
Islam in 2005 where they performed to over 3,000 people as well as
events organised by Q News and Mecca 2 Medina.
I was like :confused: Shouldn't someone tell them that this is from the signs of the last hour, 'When the voice of the female is made Halaal' - I'm not sure of the correct wording of that quote, so I could be wrong, but I am sure that one of the signs of the hour has to do with the voice of women. Please someone with more knowledge correct me if I am wrong.
But still, it is very saddening to read stuff like that. I can still remember the Global Nasheed & Unity thingy that I went to last year. I hear it is being held in august this year...if it coincides with Jimas, i know where I would rather be...
