Salams Mr. Abuz Zubair. Just wanted to say your name "Abuz Zubair" sucks. You write such great refutations that you deserve at least a semi-professional sounding name. Wouldn't "Abu Zubair" be better? Or Abu Az-Zubair. But "Abuz" looks stupid. Why is the "z" in the middle of it? Makes it look silly. I'm gonna add some of your articles; do you mind if I just say Abu Zubair? Also, any last name? Or just Abu Zubair?

wa'alaikum as-salaam,

It's Abu + al + Zubair = Abuz Zubair

The á in al-Zubair is a Lam ash-Shamsiyyah, which is written but silent when pronounced (as a result the Ò becomes mushaddad).

There are also certain names like Hassan, Husayn, Zubayr, Layth, and others, which take an 'al' before them. So it is said: Abul Hassan (instead of Abu Hassan) etc.

Yes I know, that's why I said it would be better to write "Abu Az-Zubair" instead. "Abuz" looks stupid.

You generally wouldn't separate the words by saying 'Abu', and then 'az-Zubair'.Brother, what is the meaning of Layth? It means Lion.

You can write Abu al-Zubayr if you like. But I opted for 'Abuz-Zubair' to make sure it is pronounced correctly.
