Two points.

*******

*******

1.******* You are over-simplifying the issue of whether women should work outside the home by assuming that******* the sole purpose of work is to provide money for the family.******* My salary is only*******the second reason why I work (I am a secondary school teacher).******* The main reason is that it*******provides intellectual stimulation, interest,*******and friends outside of the home.******* You need to take this into account.******* I would not consider myself lucky at all to be a housewife or a kept woman*******- I would feel emprisoned.

*******

2.******* It is ridiculous to say that a woman must stay at home to avoid "harrassment".******* Why not punish men who harrass through the law, so that they will learn to*******behave with respect?

Different strokes for different folks , I too am a teacher I worked till I fell pregnant with the first of my five children and that was to give some*******assistance to my husband with money.

I am so happy at home even though I feel we are brainwashed into thinking that we become gaga if we choose to stay at home. Our life does not end because we choose to stay at home this is how Allah has created us we are the ones that can withstand a screaming baby through the night .

As for the kept woman comment that shows how*******brainwashed you really are by media family or whatever. In*******Islam we are the Queen bee our husbands are our protectors and maintainers . Poor man comes home*******at least be there for him with a smile and a hot dinner not a frown and moaning about*******how bad a*******day*******you had at the office , no wonder there is such a breakdown in families in the west , even my non muslim family know its always better for the woman to stay at home but the crazy society pushes them to have more things, things that are not needed, all about keeping up with the Jones's, I guess.
