Akhi A.Z can you explain your dua,is it because one day we will have to leave them ie when we die or that they might die (may Allah protect them aaameeeen)so we shouldnt be too attached?Please explain.

ps when my daughter laughs alot she gets hickups straight after so my wife is always telling me not to make her laugh too much

Dont give my kids either one akhi never have.Ive read somewhere that dummys are no good for kids as they hinder the babys development of speech.

yup :) thats why they are referred to as fitnah, its hard to remain balance with them.
