Salaam 3alal djamee3,

I am very new in here even though I used to check this great website a lot, mashaAllah it is a very good one and may Allah reward the brother for all that work.

I am posting in here because I would need some help, inshaAllah.

We all know that as Muslims, we have lost the medias war. The "other" took over it. And most of the "Muslims" I came accross and who are into medias and supposed to represent the Muslim community, do not practice. I am talking about the inner AND the outter and Allah knows best.

So, we must stand up and at least "be on the scene" when others less qualified talk in our names.

Thus, following a discussion about this issue, we plan to set up an Islamic Political Media, we want to gather THE PRACTISING MUSLIMS who are into media as well as those who want to get into it and start something from there.

We thaught about having an MSN group dedicated to The Islamic Political Media(s) and why not creating a website and expend the whole thing from there.

This way, we will have our views from An ISLAMIC point of view.

So, as the ideas are a bit blurred and nothing has started yet, any ideas would be taken into consideration and anyone who have any professional experience (linked to media/journalism/islam... and any other useful skills) is welcome,

WE WANT PRACTISING PEOPLE YA3NI PRACTISING/SINCERE PEOPLE... (just need to stress this point:D )

And Allah is the best of Planners. We ask Allah ta3alah to put barakah in each of our actions when it is for His sake and to keep us away from our hawa2.
May Allah be with the Muwahedeen.

w/salaam

Well, firstly we thaught about something with the professionalism of MPACUK, but not the ideas they carry. Something that will gather the voice of Muslims around the globe, internationally. Something that is capable to support internationally the various campains for those who are detained, the oppressed wherever he/she can be. Something that, why not, could handle a charity project. Well, it's thinking too far now... But do you get the picture??? I know it is not easy, I am quite conscient about it. Also, I know that what I am saying above is not that clear, but I hope it is better now even though it is not all that... We want something that can make a difference, that is capable to "stand up"...
