Assalamualaikum,

I'm not sure if I've formally introduced myself. I joined when this section did not exists. I was born as a Muslim, was not a practicing Muslim until just recently. Now I'm beginning to realize how much time I've wasted chasing for the dunia, and neglected my akhirah. I regretted the years I lived my life in ignorance, heedless, as if there is no Rabb even though I believed in One. Without acknowledging His infinite bounties He bestowed, without fearing His admonishment, nor making serious, sincere effort to seek only His pleasure. I'm hoping to benefit from this forum, learn more about Islam upon the correct understanding, put them into practice and at the same time it convey to others.

Time will keep moving on, and you won't able turn back the clock and fix the mistakes that you've done, even though you wished so much that you could. Allah is the the Most Merciful and Most Forgiving. He forgives whomever He wills and punishes whomever He wills (al-Fath 14). There are sins that He will forgave and there are sins between the creations that you have to seek apology from those whom you've oppressed. The punishments and rewards in this dunia is negligible compared to the punishments and rewards of the akhirah.

May Allah provide us all courage and strength and to go through the challenges of the short life in this dunia and keep our heart firm to His Deen.

Walikium Aaslaam Wa Rahamatuh Allahi Wa Barakatuh,

A truely great reminder Alhamdulillah.... Just like what
Hasan al Basari once said, "O son of Adam! You are but a bundle of days. As each day passes away, a portion of you vanishes away.

Said ibn Jubayr once said, "The remainder of the believer's life is priceless." ...."Each day the believer lives, ...is truely a treasure, so treasure your moments with care and benefit."

And..Ameen to all the above mentioned Duaa's. May Allah swt keep us steadfast on tareeq al mostaqeem, and make us of those who worship him publicly and privately.
