Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem
As Salaam Walaikum Ya Jum3ah
I have been a lurker for a little while, but thought it best to introduce myself. There isn't that much to say however what I would like to say is that until recently I was a subscriber to blind takfeer, slandering the Ulema and 'jihadi' idealogy akin to the type of rhetoric people such as BTC espouse. However Bi Ithn Allaah I have repented from this and I would like to say that this forum was a part of shedding this misguidance. I would like to particularly thank Abuz Zubair and Brother Mujahid whom addressed many issues that were focal points of my misguidance and all this is a blessing from Allaah through this forum and your hands. And I would also like to say that although we may consider our comments insignificant there are many eyes out there that read them and they strike those with intellect and an open heart. Now alhamdulliah I am able to study my deen from many scholars and benefit from them rather than some of these self appointed 'scholars'. But also I can see with much more clarity and this has enabled me to recover from a burnout in my deen, which is so often mentioned on here, that those who go to extremes will burn out and stop practising. So please be aware ya muslimoon it does happen, when you narrow your understanding you tread a tight rope and you will eventually fall. Islam belongs to no one and no one owns the Ulema and their words, essentially no one has a monopolopy on the truth so please let these humble words be a reminder that the truth can come from all sources, even the so called 'evil scholars'.
May Allaah reward and bless the members of this forum and keep us on the straight way and middle path.
